My February Favorites

You guys were loving the outfits and products I shared on Stories last month! I saw the highest number of DMs ever in February, so I thought it would be a good time to start back sharing my monthly favorites on the blog.

A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS FROM FEBRUARY:

SOCK BOOTIES

Let’s talk about these booties. I saw them online and thought they were doing way too much. Of course, I ordered them immediately and we have been in love since the day they arrived in pink packaging and covered in unicorns. These snake print sock booties are stunners in person. At least one person stops me every time I wear them— be prepared! Also, tag me if you buy them so I can spam you with heart eyes and fire flame emojis.

CRUELTY-FREE BEAUTY

First up, this wild cherry mattifying primer. I used to buy two tubes of my favorite primer at a time, which would usually last me a year or a little over. So, imagine my surprise when I walked into Sephora and learned that it had been discontinued for… you guessed it, A YEAR! I took this as a sign that it was time for me to make the switch to a gentler, cruelty-free option.  I was so happy to find this silicone-free, oil control primer that smells like those old school cherry Lip Smackers.

I originally featured this deep detox mask in my green beauty picks post and I am still in love. My results from the detox mask have been pretty similar to the Origins Original Skin rose clay mask: my pores appear smaller, skin is brighter, and it doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry. I’ve since ordered the kale charcoal and super hydration masks to add to my rotation.

The natural deodorant I picked up in Nashville left quite a few of you with questions. Mainly, you wanted to know if they actually work. I will answer with a MAYBE. You really have to do your research to find a natural deodorant that works but does not have irritating ingredients (hello, baking soda), lasts all day, and can even survive a workout. I have tried and loved this sensitive jasmine tea formula, this coconut and vanilla scented option, and so many more. Seriously, I could write an entire blog post about natural deodorant. In the meantime, I can 100% recommend Megababe Rosy Pits. This stuff is magical. I’ve tested it’s strength through boot camp, cycling class, and Memphis heat. THIS.STUFF. WORKS. Grab it here.

LOOSE V-NECK TOP

I spotted this top during a major sale and grabbed it in three different colors. It’s loose-fitting, breathable, and comes pre-twisted for all of you who are like me and fail at making a knot fashion. The photo above is from a day filled with brunching, shopping, and indulging in lots of pre-birthday treats. It was perfect for the day and is a good transition to spring piece. It’s on sale here until 3/24!
