The idea of a suit brings to mind a hot, stuffy, boxy, and super boring outfit that’s required for interviews, office settings, and that #girlboss promotion you’ve been eyeing. Well, at least that’s what I used to think, until some absolutely fabulous suits with beautiful cuts, bright colors, and fun patterns started popping up all over Instagram. One such suit was this beauty, which I spotted and immediately knew had to be mine.
Instagram might have sold me, but online shopping is usually tricky for me due to sizing. I’m still very much adjusting to being a larger size and figuring out what works for my body. I know, I know. I’ve had nearly three years to adjust to this new size/ or to lose the weight, but I have done neither. Leave me a comment if you’d like a blog post about my journey (ick, that word) to appreciating myself at every size or just leave a comment telling me to get over myself and focus on other things besides my weight—I’d appreciate either, tbh.

Back to this suit! I am absolutely in love with this beauty. As I said, I am weary of ordering certain pieces online, so I super lucked up when I happened upon these pieces in-store and found them to be true to size. They’re everything: fun, stylish, and lightweight. If where you are is anything like Memphis, breathable fabrics are beyond necessary and these fun pieces that can be worn separately or as a full suit are perfection. Oh, and did I mention the jacket is currently on sale here? I’ve also linked a few other fun suits below.
