A few of my favorite things from August:
BLACK SUNNIES
I have a thing for sunglasses and these beauties are only $5. Yes, you read that right. My favorite pair of “I can’t be asked or bothered/ Pass the Prosecco/ I’m here for a good time, not a long time” sunnies won’t break the bank.
LIQUID LIPSTICK
It’s rare that I don’t have on a mauve, brown, plum, or cranberry lip stain on my lips and in my bag. I have little patience for most lipsticks, as they tend to come off too easily. Finding lip stain shades that worked me was a game changer! While this lovely shade [Prima Donna] isn’t quite a stain, it has staying power that’s comparable, it’s vegan, and there are at least three other shades I’m anxious to try.
THE BAG
I’m calling this bag ‘The Bag’ because it’s just that good! I received it as a present and I receive compliments, questions, and stares each time I wear it. This beauty is eye-catching, roomier than it looks, and easy to wear with nearly any outfit. While it’s quite the splurge, it’s worth it!
PINK PLANNER
You can’t have too many notebooks, planners, and nice pens. At least, that’s what I tell myself! It was love at first sight when I spotted this adorable planner while in Oxford. It’s sleek design continues from the cover to it’s functional planner pages that allow you to select and circle the date instead of being forced to only use the planner during a certain time period.
HAND CREAM-ISH
While this is actually a body moisturizer, it’s so effective that I have been using the travel size as a hand cream. If you’ve been following my posts then you know that I love staying at hotels with Malin + Goetz products. This vitamin B5 body moisturizer will leave your hands (and body) silky smooth.
