The holiday season is upon us! I’m personally beyond excited to have something to look forward to after nearly a year of living through a pandemic, an election season, and the general state of being black in America. Oh, and did someone mention MURDER HORNETS? “Help me, Tom Cruise!” At this point, I’m ready to burn my holiday candles and deck everyone’s halls. Since that’s not possible, I’ll be upping my content to spread some holiday cheer. I’m usually a Grinch this time of year *clutches pearls* but this year I’m planning to have you all reap the benefits of my second top love language: gifts. Major Sale Alert// Black Friday deals seem to have started mid-November. I have zero plans of crowding into retailers this year because #PANDEMIIIIIIIIIIC but I will definitely be shopping online. Memphis Life// The Scout is out, baby! I am excited to return for my second year as a contributor and can’t wait to feature some of my favorite Memphis + Oxford businesses. More on that here.
This Week’s Priority// I really need to put up my tree and other decorations. I usually put it off until the first of December but I’ve been fortunate enough to secure some pretty sweet holiday campaigns this year and that will require… you guessed it… holiday decorations. On My Wish List// It’s absolutely ridiculous, impractical, and wildly expensive. So, of course, I can’t stop pulling it up and watching it go in and out of stock here. It’s Drunk Elephant’s The Trunk 4.0. It’s a little carry-on size case filled with their most popular products and I want it, need it, gotta have it.
