Atlanta According to My iPhone

I can’t sit still for too long before I am ready to go somewhere, anywhere! I tagged along on a conference trip (the last time I did this I found myself in San Francisco) and decided to make the most of the few hours we had outside of conference activities.

First Stop: Boba

You guys know I love some boba, especially Boba Guys! I was so determined to grab some boba that we ended up stopping OUTSIDE of the city for it at Teamo Tea. This little spot is in a strip mall in Sandy Springs. Blink and you will miss it, unless you come during peak hours and witness the clusters of folks rushing in and out.

Teamo let’s you customize your milk, tea, toppings, ice, and sweetness. I went for the almond milk, matcha with boba toppings, regular ice, and less sugar. It was so pretty and delicious! 100% recommend.

Next Stop: Midtown Shopping

I was told that I must visit Highland Row Antiques. One step inside and I understood why: rare finds, whimsical sections filled with brightly colored clothing, and a large selection of out of this world furniture. Find them on Instagram!

I also popped into Gardenia and Young Blood Boutique. The two shops share owners and are absolutely gorgeous. I stocked up on room fragrance at Young Blood and some handmade soaps at Gardenia.

Lunch Stop: Marrakesh Mediterranean Market

Falafel is my absolute favorite food. It’s difficult for me to resist and when it comes with a side of grilled cauliflower and sweet potato fries… SIGN ME UP. The Marrakesh Mediterranean Market was absolutely bustling, which I took as a sign, considering how many amazing food options are inside of Ponce City Market.

My instincts were correct! The falafel was great but I could talk about the cauliflower and the sweet potato fries forever. The magical seasoning on both was so delicious and a perfect complement to their Green Goddess frozen lemonade with mint.

Next Stop: Ponce City Market Shopping

We’re in the process of redesigning our space. Nothing major, just switching out a few rugs, adding some lighting, and other small pieces. Of course that meant our first stops inside of Ponce were West Elm and Williams-Sonoma. We eventually made our way to Citizen Supply, Madewell, and Anthropologie. I picked up this gorgeous bag in ‘moss’ at Anthro!

Last Stop: Back to the hotel with Takorea take out

After a day of driving, shopping, and eating, takeout was calling our names. I’m a fan of both Korean dishes and Mexican goodness.  Both together? I decided it was worth a try.

We shared the Korean Takos with tofu, a sesame fries basket, and 50/50 side of black beans and rice from Takorea. Honestly, I still don’t know how I feel about what we ate. I loved the crispy tofu but was thrown off by the sweetness of the other dishes. Comment below with what I should try next time!

Next Day Brunch Stop: Bread & Butterfly

Our last stop before the conference and hitting the road was for brunch at Bread & Butterfly. We arrived too early to enjoy a cocktail, so I opted for a cappuccino instead. We shared the avocado on toast, mixed greens, and single pancake. I’ll be back to try the Corpse Reviver #2 cocktail!

There is nothing more fun than exploring new areas! Especially the smaller areas, like the adorable shops that you stumbled across in this post! Of course I always go to the main attractions of any new place, but the real gems are hidden and discovered purely by accident. I love that you made the most of some spare time you had!
