Beauty Crush: Keep Your Summer Vacation Glow All Year Long

Can you believe the first day of fall is in just a few days? It’s especially difficult for me to grasp, as it’s currently 90 degrees in Memphis. Despite the relentless heat, I am gearing up to bring you all of my fall favorites over the next few weeks. Today, I’m sharing a few tips to keep that summer vacation glow through the fall and all year long!

If you’re following me on Instagram, you know that my beauty and skincare obsession continues to grow. I am especially always on the search for cleaner product options that have ingredients I can pronounce and don’t break the bank. During my search, I found skincare and beauty paradise at The Organic Skin Co. I was also impressed with their customizable palette options. The Organic Skin Co. gives you the option to build your own palette. Building your palette gives you the freedom to choose from stocking up on concealers, blush and lip color, luminizers, eye shadows, and more. The palette comes in three colors: stone, charcoal, and blush. Each color is so sleek and chic. They are also available in a four or an eight pod option. I chose the four pod palette in stone with two concealers, a luminizer, and a blush and lip color. Below, I’m sharing how I use these products to get and keep my summer vacation glow!

FIVE STEPS FOR AN ALL OVER GLOW

1. Start with a clean and moisturized face – Girl, wash your face! I know we’re all tempted sometimes, but a makeup wipe does not count. I always recommend completing your full daytime skincare routine before applying makeup.

2. Prep your skin with Primp n’ Prime – Oil skin, combination skin, or just looking for your smoothest makeup look? Primer is your friend. After completing your skincare routine, apply a dime-sized amount of  Primp n’ Prime to your trouble zones. I am using the rose gold color to compliment my darker skin tone and add to my glow.

3. Apply your Hide and Seek pod(s) – Use a concealer pod to cover blemishes, lighten your under eye area, etc. I am using the sweet amber color. It has a lush, creamy texture and excellent coverage. Follow your choice of color with sculpt. Sculpt is technically a concealer, but I am using it on my entire face. It is perfect for build-able, light to medium coverage.

4. Lightly dusk with Cheeky Lips – One of my favorite things about this palette is the option to add Cheeky Lips colors that work as both a blush and lip color. I am using desert storm.

5. Bring the glow – The In the Spotlight luminizer pod is a glowgetter’s dream! I am using rose gold on my cheeks and as an eye shadow.

BONUS: After I complete my look, I apply sweet amber as a highlight and contour my face with sculpt!
