Beauty Crush: $10 Nighttime Skincare that Works

Effective beauty and skincare is something I absolutely love sharing here with you! My daytime skincare routine has always been a healthy mix of affordable and higher end products, but I’ve lately been on a quest to incorporate more clean beauty products. I thought experimenting with my nighttime routine was the perfect opportunity to try out some strictly budget-friendly options. These surprising picks are from Walmart’s new Cleen Beauty line. Yes, Walmart! Bonus: Not only are these products all under $10 but they are also cruelty-free and vegan, formulated without parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrances, dyes, or mineral oils. Keep reading for details about my picks from the line and click through the bolded links to safely shop from home!

WHITE CLAY FACE BAR

I’ll admit that I was a little skeptical about using a bar on my face. However, all doubts went out the window when I felt the light foaming sensation against my face and noticed it had even removed my last bits of makeup. You’ll also appreciate the lack of strong fragrance from the bar. I definitely appreciate lighter, soothing scents or no scent in products before hitting the bed. Another selling point for me was that my skin felt incredibly soft and moisturized after using the bar and even before applying a moisturizer.

LAVENDER CHAMOMILE NIGHT CREAM

Speaking of moisturizer, this rich night cream is so lush that you’ll be tempted to use it on your entire body. It boasts snow mushroom, lavender oil, and chamomile flower as ingredients. Snow mushroom is often praised for its anti-aging, deep moisturizing, and healing abilities for troubled skin. The lavender is a light and refreshing scent that definitely relaxes and gets you in the right headspace to drift off.

AVOCADO HEMP BUTTER SLEEP MASK

Buttery soft. Yes, that’s how I would describe how my face felt after applying a generous amount of this overnight mask to my face. To be fair, my face felt great after applying the “thin layer” as directed on the package but I couldn’t help indulging in a bit more. I did follow the rest of the directions the next morning and wash it off with warm water. Again, my face felt buttery soft.

BLUE ALGAE HYDRATING + TURMERIC SOOTHING SHEET MASK

While you all know I love masks and I’ve dabbled in using K-Beauty sheet masks, these are the first sheet masks I’ve used that are biodegradable. I appreciate knowing that means these masks won’t still be around in a landfill decades past my existence in this life. I also especially appreciated the blue algae hydrating mask. True to its name, it was the perfect mask to use after a rigorous workout that left my face sweaty but dry. Post cleansing with the clay bar, I used this mask and felt like a new person.

OTHER ITEMS I’M INTERESTED IN TRYING:

I understand the temptation completely! They smell fresh, clean, and light but they are so incredibly effective. You also can’t beat the $10 price point. Thanks for reading!

I’ll have to check this brand out! Cruelty free & vegan will always catch my attention on labels for skincare but that price point is great!

I’ve never been a huge fan of beauty products because of the high prices, but these are very interesting products! It’s so hard to find products that are cruelty-free, vegan, and not expensive. I love this!
