Happy friday! I wanted to check in and post a short read of what’s on my radar: weekend plans, cool things I found on the interwebs, travel plans, Memphis happenings, and such. Let me know if you think this should be a regular weekly post!

This week has been absolutely insane BUT in the best possible way. I scored a new social media marketing client AND my Girl Scout cookie order arrived. I’m sure I’ll regret the cookie order sooner than later.

New products in rotation: Henne Organics Lip Exfoliator | Native Natural Deodorant although I’m LOVING Schmidt’s | Le Bon Dentifrice| Odeme Bamboo Travel Toothbrushes

Weekend Plans//  The Brooks Museum is hosting a member party tonight for the opening of African-Print Fashion Now that looks like it’s going to be amazing! You can check out the action on their Instagram @brooksmuseum or mine @the.elle.aesthetic .

Memphis Life// So much is happening in Memphis in the next few weeks! I’m most excited about Young Collectors Contemporary and Memphis Black Restaurant Week. You can use code ‘BeOurGuest5‘  to receive five dollars off a YCC ticket purchase.

Friday Finds// I found the best dupe for my Adam Selman x Le Specs sunnies (seen wearing here), a lip scrub that I picked up in Nashville and love, this shirt that speaks to my inner French girl, a fun single initial necklace, and this skirt that makes me want to party.

Travel Plans// Did somebody say GIRLS TRIP? One of my friends suggested a girls trip to Sedona or New Orleans. Help me with deciding and let me know your favorite spots in each place!

Major Sale Alert// I’ve been eyeing this travel tote for months and it’s finally on sale for 30% off! Enter code ‘SVIP18‘ before checking out to get the discount.

Cool Post// Refinery29 killed it with this post featuring Kimberly Drew, Social Media Manager for the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Blog Love// Cristina of *janded blog shared some awesome tips to get those positive sprinkles going first thing in the morning. If you’re a blogger, share your favorite post in the comments and I’ll check them out!

Have an awesome weekend and thanks so much for reading! Don’t forget to hang out with me this weekend on Stories.

That skirt really is festive! It kind of made me think of Mardi Gras. And I LOVE the idea of the Black Restaurant Week! It’s so important to promote smaller, family-owned restaurants and to help minority business owners establish a solid clientele. This is a wonderful initiative.

Isn’t it the best? I think I have to get it for my birthday! Also, I totally agree at MBRW. I can’t wait to see how it turns out this year. Thanks for reading! <3

I saw that Refinery 29 article and it was a fantastic read. 🙂 I’ve been to Sedona and New Orleans, and they’re very different. I think it would depend on your travel personality. Sedona is more outdoorsy, with lots of outdoor cafes, art shops, hiking, and trails where you can go 4-wheeling. New Orleans seems more like a girls trip destination (lots of bars and socializing opportunities), but you can’t go wrong with either one!

Wow, thanks for the tips! I know they’re both so different but I might be the tie-breaker and suggest Sedona after reading your description 🙂
